Founded in December 2024, Hope Haitian Community Center was born from a deep desire to respond to the urgent needs of the Haitian population in Springfield, Ohio. For too long, our community lacked accessible resources, local leadership, and supportive spaces that reflect our culture and values. What started as a group of passionate individuals volunteering through the First Haitian Evangelical Church has grown into a structured organization that uplifts, educates, and unites.
We now serve as a safe haven where children, youth, and families can grow, connect, and thrive. Whether it’s academic tutoring, job readiness, spiritual development, or cultural celebration—everything we do is rooted in love, dignity, and the belief that every person has value.
Children & Youth Programs: Tutoring, dance, soccer, music, creative workshops, and annual events like Children’s Day and holiday celebrations.
Women’s Empowerment: Job search assistance, entrepreneurship training, personal development, and cultural orientation.
Spiritual Support: Bible study and faith-based guidance in collaboration with local churches.
Community Engagement: Family events, social services, and leadership training to inspire the next generation.
